What they do:
Aloha Toronto is a free, one-day event that brings the spirit of Hawaii and the aloha lifestyle to Toronto’s shores, offering individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders the opportunity to participate in surfing and stand-up paddleboarding workshops as a form of relaxation and fun. The event integrates life skills development through engaging activities that foster personal growth and social connections. Free paddleboarding sessions help participants build confidence, develop physical coordination, and step out of their comfort zones, while sensory-friendly activities and music therapy enhance communication, emotional regulation, and teamwork. By providing an inclusive and supportive environment, Aloha Toronto empowers participants to build resilience, form meaningful relationships, and acquire life skills that extend far beyond the event .
