Helen Hatzis is a philanthropist, storyteller, and connector who has dedicated her career to creating meaningful change through collaboration.

 

As President of Grapes for Humanity Canada since 2023, she leads the organization with vision and purpose, working to raise funds and awareness for critical causes such as community development, environmental sustainability and land conservation. Since joining the board, Helen has championed initiatives that have mobilized donors, wineries, and volunteers to support transformative projects around the globe.

Helen’s passion for connection and impact is rooted in a diverse career spanning industries such as science and technology, arts and entertainment, and travel. This breadth of experience has given her the unique ability to bring the right people together, fostering partnerships that drive innovation and amplify results. Her commitment to philanthropy and sustainability has earned her accolades, including the Governor General’s Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers, the Vaughan Citizen Award, and recognition as one of Canada’s nicest people during Roots Canada’s 150th Canada Day celebration.

An advocate for responsible travel and storytelling, Helen is also the creator of Trip Jaunt, an award-winning blog that captures her global adventures while promoting sustainable tourism. Through her platform, she inspires readers to explore the world thoughtfully.
