What they do:

The Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit at St. Michael’s Hospital cares for a wide variety of people – from vulnerable populations in the downtown core to patients transferred in from all over the province for specialized care.

The project:

Thanks to Grapes of Humanity, we can support our patients and their families in little ways and ease the stress of hospitalization. Some examples include celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, treating patients to their favourite coffee once they can eat and drink, and providing gift cards to help offset some of the financial burden of families traveling in from far distances.
